The Algarve Coast in Portugal has been a point of reference for tourism in Europe for a long time now. But usually, people come to Algarve in search of sunny days and fun nights.

What most people don’t know is that in Benagil, Algarve, there is a unique cave that can only be reached by boat and that is absolutely stunning. After arriving you can actually spend the day there, enjoying the sun and swimming in the breathtaking blue waters.

#5 – General Carrera Lake, Chile

This is one of those places you need to see to believe since it is one of the most unbelievable wonders of the world. This geological formation is matchless and happened over the course of millions of years.

These caves are really isolated, which means you will have to fly all the way from Santiago to Coyhaique and then drive to this secluded location. Do not enter the cave system unless the tide is low, and talk to locals in order to get a small boat to explore this site. It’s going to be worthy of your troubles, we promise.

#6 – Trolltunga, Norway

Norway is one of the best places to travel for many reasons, bit the tip of Trolltunga makes its way to the top of the list.

The name of this site can be translated literally into “troll tongue”, and the name is due to the fact that this long rock formation hangs about 2300 feet above the ground of Ringedalsvatnet, providing you with a panoramic and astonishing view over the mountain range of Norway.

This can be considered an overseas adventure travel experience since this spot is particularly dangerous (for the obvious reasons) and there is no surveillance. So be adventurous, but take precautions.

#7 – Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia

You get here and you start walking on those Bolivian salt flats you have only seen in pictures – and you can’t believe it. This is like something out of a dream. The salt flats’ surface works as a giant mirror that reflects the sky.
