Baltimore is the perfect city for a weekend trip that will not break your bank account, nor will it destroy your wallet. But, it is a good idea if you were extra careful when you are there. Surprisingly, the violent crime rate is increasing daily in every category, except the property crime. Don’t you think it is a weird coincidence?
However, the robberies and aggravated assault numbers are increasing drastically more than any other crime. So maybe it is best to change the destination for this weekend vacation!
Las Vegas, Nevada
Oh, Las Vegas! The city that is full of life, adventures, excitement, and drunk marriages. Luckily, the sin city may be getting safer and calmer for a quick vacation. According to the violent crime rate, the number decreased from 7,174 to 4,906. Yet, burglary, theft, and property crimes numbers went higher.
In any case, if you visited Vegas and you lost your wallet, it may be your fault since you will be too drunk to be aware of the world around you. Good times!
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Once we hear Philadelphia, we magically remember the Brotherly Love. However, the rates in this city stayed the same in most categories, except murder, which increased to a scary number.
Furthermore, Philadelphia is considered to be one of the most dangerous cities for pedestrians, which is not a good thing for tourists and travelers. One good thing is that the city noticed a big decrease in some of the crimes like car theft and rape.
