San Miguel De Allende
San Miguel De Allende is as beautiful and sexy as its name, and it is also very safe according to expats. This city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is located in the middle of Mexico.
There are many great places to explore such as the Spanish colonial churches, cobblestone streets, and many great restaurants.
Furthermore, Sanctuary of Atotonilco is also a World Heritage Site and it is only 10 miles away from San Miguel De Allende. It is a very important pilgrimage site for locals and tourists.

Tulum
In order to enjoy the warm weather and the crystal-clear beaches, Tulum is the safest destination since Playa del Carmen has been getting the reputation of “violence” lately. Plus, it is not as touristy as other resort towns, which is perfect.
Tulum Town is located on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico and it offers many activities like snorkeling in a limestone sinkhole, visit the national park (Parque Nacional de Tulum), and explore the well-preserved ruins of the Mayan city walls.
