3. Recife

Further north, in the state of Pernambuco, we have the city of Recife which also has some amazing beaches.

Praia dos Carneiros is the typical paradisiac beach with white sand, palm trees, and blue water. You won’t find many people in this specific beach because it is privately owned, so make sure you carry extra money with you to pay the entrance fee. This makes it the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries.

On the opposite side of Recife (to the south) is located the Porto de Galinhas beach. It is a well-known tourist destination famous for its crystal-clear water and natural pools.

It is great for swimming and snorkeling. It is completely different from the Praia dos Carneiros, so if you can spend a couple of days on either side of Recife to appreciate both these beaches.

4. Florianopolis

Florianopolis is the largest city in the state of Santa Catarina, with almost 500 thousand inhabitants and over 60 beaches.

It is essentially a conglomerate of small islands, the main Santa Catarina Island, and a small part of the mainland. The region is known for its incredible natural landscapes, spectacular beaches, and wild nightlife.

We decided to highlight the Praia do Campeche because of its amazing scenery. The contrast between its blue, clear waters and the dense green vegetation makes all the colors stand out and become more vivid. Everywhere you look you feel like you could take a photograph worthy of being used as a postcard!

5. Rio Grande do Norte

The state of Rio Grande do Norte also has places for everyone. In the city of Natal there are amazing resorts with private beaches that are perfect for travelers who just want to sunbathe without having to worry about a thing.

On the outskirts of the city, there is also the picturesque Praia da Pipa, a beach located near a fishing village that has managed to stay off the tourist radar and offers the perfect combination between beach and green nature.
