Generally, there are only beautiful countries because everywhere you go, there is something gorgeous to be offered -think nature, architecture, culture, and much, much more. Beauty is hard to evaluate, and mentioning only a few beautiful countries never makes the others less breathtaking. Thankfully, the World Economic Forum releases a Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report every year, which is a survey that ranks the world’s most beautiful countries based on many factors, from natural resources to life expectancy. We have randomly picked 5 out of these gorgeous countries that you may want to include in your travel bucket list for this year!
1. Costa Rica
Imagine finding yourself surrounded by misty waterfalls, beautiful (and safe) forests, and deserted beaches. Wouldn’t that be one of those days you never want to end? Costa Rica provides incredible nature sceneries, including the Cocos Island National Park, the only eastern Pacific island with a rainforest that is also home to a world-class diving destination with giant manta rays and dolphins, and sea turtles. You have to pay a visit to La Amistad National Park, a uniquely diverse site with glacial valleys, cloud forests, and a tropical grassland.
2. Iceland
Iceland has emerged to be the most desirable tourist destination in the world. In fact, millions of tourists fly yearly to this gorgeous country for its most awe-inspiring destinations, like the hushing waterfalls, towering volcanos, and ice caves. What makes Iceland stand out and make it one of the most beautiful countries ever is its floating icebergs and adorable seals gatherings. 3. Austria
Do you want to know what fairytales are made of? You should book a flight and fly to Austria to know. Being in the Lakeside village of Hallstatt will feel like you are in a dream, making it one of the most beautiful countries in the world. The reasons why Austria attracts hundreds of tourists every year (besides being uniquely gorgeous) are the Alps that provide ski slopes and hiking trails, and the Hohe Tauern National Park that creates a perfect combination of rolling green hills and snow-capped mountains.
