6. Crater Lake
7,700 years ago, a large volcano collapsed and formed what is known today as the Crater Lake, such a unique natural masterpiece in south-central Oregon. Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the US and the third deepest in the whole world. It is also one of the least polluted water bodies worldwide because it feds entirely by rain and snow. 1,943 feet deep of clean, pure blue shaded wonderful water! The spirit of the old volcano is still present in the park through some interesting features that you can manifest, like the Wizard Island; which is a cinder cone that rises up from the middle of the lake.
