A cave Town
Star Wars fans would definitely visit this place, that’s if they didn’t already, because this town is technically the home of Luke Skywalker. Matmata is Tunisian town where you can find Berber underground dwellings that are empty and inhabited.
The surface houses were built in the 1970’s, but locals preferred to live in their normal, traditional homes. In all cases, this town is gorgeous, traditional, and unique!
A town under one roof
In Alaska, there is a town that is located in a 14-level building. You don’t believe me? Well, this building hosts a hospital, a police station, a church, and all the shops.
The goal behind this idea was to be as economical as possible on heating because the weather in the town of Whittier is very cold and windy all year around. However, the population of this city is 220 people, and probably less!
How would you feel having everything you need in the same building where you live? That’s would be oddly wonderful.
A town with the shade of Blue
If you traveled to Chefchaoun, Morocco, you will be shocked because all the doors, walls, stairs, windows, and even the ground are blue. This city is gorgeous and very clean, but that’s not all, you will also find a lot of green because this whole town was built in a mountain where nature couldn’t be more beautiful.
According to one theory, the blue paint was the Jews idea when they used to live there because they believed that this color brings peace and serenity. Now the Jews are gone, but the blue lingers on. But to be fair, this town does, truly, brings peace of mind to whoever visits it.
