At first, you will think that there are people drowning at that “normal-looking” pool, but in fact, it is just an illusion that the artist Leonardo Erlich created to trick your eyes and brain into thinking.

This pool is a permanent exhibition at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Japan. The optical illusion was literally created by 10cm of water being housed between two sheets of glass on the top.
