Jalalabad Road – Kabul
A scary road that is located nowhere and takes you to the Taliban Territory, Jalalabad Road is where you can really question your driving skills and stare at death in the eye.
It is a 65-km highway that goes between large rocky Mountains that has almost no residents. The road earned the title of “the most dangerous road in the world” very proudly. However, when you drive there, the snaky road is not the only thing to worry about. You have to worry about the narrow lanes while climbing to over 600 meters.
Plus, the drivers who won’t make it any easier since they are recklessly trying to overtake the road. Driving this highway could be, indeed, one of the scariest and most dangerous experiences of your life.
The James W. Dalton – Alaska
The highway that is also located in the middle of nowhere, The James A. Dalton, a.k.a the Alaska 11 highway, is one of the world’s most dangerous and challenging roads. It starts from Elliot Highway and ends at Deadhorse which is near to the Arctic Ocean.
This highway is surely dangerous because it is not only ridiculously long (414-mile long) it barely has 1,000 residents and 3 fueling stations. To make it even harder, this highway location goes through a harsh weather.
So, snow-covered roads and freezing breezes are something you will have to deal with, too!
Vitim River Bridge – Siberia
Vitim River is a branch of the Lena River, and it has a bridge that is 6 feet wide which can barely fit a standard car, and for the sake of adventure, you will not find any fencing or railing around the bridge. So I think you get where the danger lands.
