You are going to feel very bad if you spend days, trying to purchase cheap travel bags online, then arrive at the airport and realize your baggage will be subject to airlines’ restrictions. This is the flavor of the day of basic economic flyers.
Several reports unearth that American Airlines prohibit the use of overhead bins, plus passengers are not permitted to take any of their baggage aboard.
Other airlines like United permit boarding the plane with a personal item without paying anything, but to place anything in the overhead bin, you will have to pay $25 for any item to fit in. On international flight booking sites, you will notice that some airlines are much more flexible.
