Founded in 1898, the Roswell Park Cancer Institute is yet another cancer treatment establishment that is considered one of the best in the United States.
Roswell Park Cancer Institut was the first-ever cancer facility to be established in the US and is, until today, the only medical institution that serves as the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, treats all types of pediatric and adult cancer, develops, and invests its time and resources in developing new anticancer drugs.
The institute’s mission is to prevent cancer, conduct early detection of the disease through screening, with the help of its 2,919 staff members, who all work together to care for and improve the lives of cancer patients.
Roswell Park Cancer Institut offers graduate programs to Ph.D. degree students enrolled in the study branch of cancer sciences. It also holds clinical trials which are concerned with looking for more advanced ways for cancer diagnosis and evaluating new medical treatment for cancer patients.
#4 – Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center (US)

The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore is internationally recognized as “the center of excellence” and one of the premier cancer treatment center in the United States.
Established in 1973, Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center runs a variety of programs including the ones concerned with the prevention and control of cancer, clinical and laboratory research, pharmacology, bone marrow transplantation, brain tumor research and treatment, esophageal cancer research, hematological malignancies, pediatric and radiation oncology, gastrointestinal cancer, as well as the experimentation of new anticancer drugs.
The center hosts over 46,600 admissions each year, has 100 laboratories, 72 surgical beds, 62 medical beds, and with the capacity to house more than 980 patients at a time.
#3 – The Abramson Cancer Center (US)

The third best cancer facility on the list is the Abramson Cancer Center located at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The center is one of the 47 US centers dedicated to the treatment of cancer.
Named as one of the “Translational Centers of Excellence,” the Abramson Cancer Center fights back cancers of blood, breast, and pancreas, with more than 8,000 professionals, 400 medical scientists, and the largest clinical trials in the country, numbered at 600.
