While this may not seem like a priority but cleaning your house before leaving on vacation is something that you will greatly appreciate when you come back from your vacation. Hence, make sure that you clear the fridge as well as the pantry of foods that will go bad and cause a nasty smell.

Also, remember to do the laundry, take out the garbage, change the sheets, and sprinkle some baking soda in the toilets and down the sink drains to keep stagnant water at bay.

One important thing you should always do before your wheels up on the runway is paying your bills. This doesn’t only include your electricity, gas, or water bills but many other important ones.

For instance, you don’t want to use free wifi to log in to your bank or credit card accounts because you didn’t have time to pay your mobile internet connexion, do you? Well, for safety and security reasons, you shouldn’t do this at all.
