Once you board your long-awaited flight, make sure you sit in your seat, fasten your belt and quit being a chatty person for once in your life. If you are a talkative person, you will likely say crazy things like the above-mentioned statement.
If you say so, then you are wrong, for flight attendants can get tips. Frontier Airlines, for instance, has permitted giving tips to the flight attendants for the food and beverages sales. You are not obliged to give a tip if you don’t want to, but it is the Frontier’s policy.

Well, at least work on making your flying experience memorable. Let us begin with abiding by the commands of the pilot. If passengers, inclusive of yourself, are asked to buckle up, there is no room for objections that go like: ‘I don’t want to fasten my seat belt now’.
The pilot of a given aircraft is the boss, and his or her orders should be obeyed. If there are any additional commands given by the flight attendants, you ‘d better listen to what they say, for it is for your own safety.

When you book your super cheap plane tickets, there is an indication on them which includes the number of the seat plus other details about the takeoff and landing timing. So you cannot just take any seat you want aboard.
Plus, booking tickets at low prices is not going to ensure you even a good seat in the economy class, let alone an empty seat to pick. If you want empties, you have to join the premium economy class for which you have to pay a lot.
Therefore, you cannot just tell a flight attendant: ‘oh, Ms! I will be taking any empty I find’. This is not even possible not to mention that it is impolite.
