In 1989, another little child lost his life there for the same reason, but the continued working until 9/11 when Disney was forced to cut opening hours by a country-wide setback in tourism.

So the River Country was shut down for more maintenance work, but it never opened again. Disney declared that it is officially closed in 2005, even though it has been abandoned for 3 years before.

A Picture of the park that looks like something from a different world!

Today, the park is decaying and overgrowing making the whole place looks like a horror movie where spirits enjoy playing around. Sadly, it looks nothing like the park when it first advertised in 1976.

There are many rides and buildings in the Japanese Disneyland that look exactly like the ones we know in California, Including a monorail and Matterhorn mountain. But it was closed and abandoned in 2006 because of the lack of attendance.

The abandoned park was also left to decay and visiting it is completely forbidden. Nara Dreamland looks like a ghost town now. So it is best to stay away during this time of year.
