Scientists have already warned that human-made global warming will increase wildfires, and from now on, we can even expect them to be more extreme.
East Coast of North America
All the cities in the eastern part of the country have experienced a very high temperature while still on February 20. There was still one whole month of winter.
The cities are Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, Ohio, Cincinnati, Indiana, Indianapolis, South Carolina, and Charleston. These cities are a great example of what Global Warming truly means.
Maryland, East Coast of North America
Something very strange happened on May 27 in the town of Catonsville, Maryland: the locals witnessed a very heavy rain that has reached 10 inches, and according to historical records, such intense rain happens only once every 500 years, and the reason behind this extreme weather event is absolutely associated with Global Warming.
California, West Coast of the United States
The precipitation occurred this last March in California after two years of dry winter, and it was one of the wettest Marches on the history of the United States. According to scientists from The University of California, the state will start to have an increase of 12% when it comes to precipitation by the end of this century, and it is associated with the warmer sea surface that is occurring in the tropical eastern Pacific Ocean.
Colorado, Utah, California
These locations are known to have an average amount of snow every winter, but it dramatically decreased this past year. It was actually down by 85% in Colorado, which is a very scary number.
According to scientists, the decrease of snow in Utah, California, and Colorado have started 50 years ago. In other words, since the climate started changing and humans were more determined to ruin this planet.
