Great Sand Dunes, Colorado
Unlike the other places, this one is really different and quite impressive! And that’s definitely not surprising to know! In fact, The Great Sand Dunes are considered one of the tallest in the North of the United States as they are about 750 feet high !
This geologic wonderland will just blow your mind with its pure sand and all the other fabulous colors that call upon your senses and grant them peace and tranquility. It is, therefore, the best place to disconnect!
The Cumberland Sea Island in Georgia
This beautiful Island is considered the largest Sea Islands in Southeastern America. It is a well preserves National Seashore known for being home to an abundance of wildlife and natural beauty.
Unfortunately, the number of visitors is very limited and only the lucky ones will be got the chance to visit this National Park. Therefore, if you are lucky enough to visit it, expect to see many sea turtles and wild horses roaming!
Mauna Loa, Hawaii
Guess what, Mauna Loa is even taller than Mount Everest itself! Oh, yes you read it right! It is 30,000 feet high and if you want to challenge yourself and hike to the volcano, keep in mind that the eruptions are large and they do produce rivers of lava that actually threatened nearby towns.
It’s scary but the stunning view you get when you reach the top is totally worth it!
Barataria Preserve, Louisiana
Lousiana is worldly and widely famous for its swamps! In fact, the Barataria Preserve is home to beautiful rare plants and amazing wildlife.
In addition to this, it’s good to note that 23,000 acres of coastal wetlands of the preserve were actually created by the drainage getaway of the Mississippi River.
