Antarctica
Did you know that Antarctica has no paved runways? It means that airplanes are landing over a large icy space and praying it won’t slip or get stuck in the snow.
Plus, in order to avoid the plane to crack the ice beneath it, it has to go through security measures and make sure the weight is right. Also, the runways must go through construction at the beginning of each season.
Imagine if the clouds were covering the sky and matching the color of the ground, everything will become one, which can create a magical view, but we still can’t deny that it is very challenging to pilots.
Zoji La Pass – India
Zoji La Pass is not only a pathway; it is the only road that keeps Ladakh people in touch with the rest of the world by connecting it with Kashmir. This road is 9-Km long in the middle of a mountain at a height of 3,528 meters, it is very dangerous and it looks like it is falling down.
The road has a large rocky mountain fence on one side and no barrier on the other side. Sometimes, even the goats walk around you in that small, dangerous road to make the experience a lot more interesting and terrifying.
